Custom Bottle Development for B2B Packaging Buyers
Aluveriq Packaging develops custom aluminium bottles for packaging importers, distributors, private-label brands, cosmetic and personal-care companies, and selected beverage projects. Customization can begin with an existing bottle model or proceed through new tooling when the required size, shape or neck cannot be matched by an available option.
Before recommending a production route, we review the filling product, application, capacity, bottle dimensions, closure, quantity, decoration and destination-market requirements. This avoids developing a bottle that looks suitable but cannot meet the required coating, sealing or production conditions.
Existing Models or a Newly Developed Bottle
An existing aluminium bottle model is usually the most practical starting point. It can reduce tooling investment, shorten sampling time and provide a more achievable MOQ. Existing models can still be adapted through closure selection, internal coating, colour, surface finish, printing, labels and export packaging.
New tooling may be evaluated when a project requires a different capacity, diameter, height, shoulder profile, neck or overall bottle shape. Buyers should provide a technical drawing, dimensional requirements or a physical reference sample. Our Bottle Size, Shape & New Tooling page explains how existing options and new-tooling requirements are compared.
Bottle, Coating and Closure as One Specification
A custom bottle cannot be approved by appearance alone. The filling product affects the internal coating, while the neck structure must match the selected screw cap, pump or sprayer.
The project specification may include:
- Bottle capacity, diameter and height
- Shoulder profile and neck finish
- Internal coating requirement
- Screw cap, pump or sprayer
- Closure material, liner and dip tube
- Surface colour and finish
- Logo artwork and print position
- Individual and export packaging
Compatibility or migration testing can be arranged through a third party where applicable. More information is available under Internal Coating & Closure Matching.
Colour, Artwork and Branding Approval
Custom colour and Logo decoration are developed against confirmed artwork and physical samples. Buyers should provide editable artwork, colour references, required print dimensions and the preferred Logo position.
The approved sample becomes the working reference for bulk decoration. Inspection focuses on colour consistency, print clarity, position, adhesion, scratches and visible surface defects. Available artwork and sample-confirmation requirements are covered on our Colour, Printing & Logo Branding page.
Sampling and Pre-Production Confirmation
Existing-model samples usually require approximately 7–12 days. Projects involving new tooling normally require around 20–30 days, depending on bottle design and development requirements.
Before mass production, the buyer should approve:
- Bottle dimensions and appearance
- Neck and closure combination
- Internal coating requirement
- Colour and surface finish
- Artwork and printed result
- Packing method
- Applicable testing requirements
Production is then completed against the approved sample, artwork and written specification rather than a reference image alone.
MOQ, Lead Time and Quotation Requirements
Typical MOQ is approximately 5,000–20,000 pieces. Actual MOQ and cost depend on the bottle model, tooling, internal coating, closure, decoration, quantity and packaging.
Mass production generally requires about 25–40 days after the specification and sample are approved. New tooling, special finishes, multiple artwork versions or custom packaging may extend the schedule.
For an accurate quotation, send us the filling product, required capacity, dimensions or reference image, closure type, quantity, colour, artwork, packaging and destination country. These details allow us to confirm a suitable model, practical MOQ, sampling route and production plan before quotation.
